From the brilliant & beauteous bedfellows babes:
Summer is a season for longing, body heat, & (as Eileen Myles says) “a time to do nothing & make no money.” We think it’s also a pretty slow time for readings, & we miss you all, so–
Let’s have some drinks
have a sweaty summer poetry reading
(in a very air-conditioned venue)
Thursday, August 4, 7pm
Our readers are both longtime & new-ish bedfellows of ours. Including, but not limited to:
Emma Brown Sanders
Cyree Jarelle Johnson
& special guest Kimberly Ann Southwick
The lovely staff at Sexploratorium at PASSIONAL Toys have also donated some toys for us to raffle away throughout the night! If you’d like to pick something saucy up before our event, we highly recommend you go check them out over on 3rd & south, or online.
Sultry tropical attire is encouraged, but not required 😉
Looking forward to seeing all of you there!
